 西湖いやしの里根場

 ここはかつて日本一美しい茅葺きの集落 でした。

霊峰富士と神秘の森青木ヶ原樹 海を望む西湖の地に今、

２１世紀の茅葺 きの里が"いやしの里"として甦りました。

西湖いやしの里根場は河口湖の近い西湖の最西端・根場地区にあります

里山（さとやま）：地元食材を使った「田舎料理」「ほうとう」「手打ちうどん」「昔ながらの甘味」などが味わえます。

くつろぎ屋：日本の文化を体験する館（着物や武士の衣装レンタルがある）

陶と香のかやぬま：陶芸と練香の体験工房

The old Japanese village　-　This place used to be one of 

the most beautiful thatch roofing houses village in Japan.
The Healing Village, command Mt. Fuji and mysterious Aokigahara Sea of forest,

 restored the old village, that used to be there, to new thatch houses village of 21 centuries. 

There are Japanese restaurant, culture learning centers, Kimono rental, museum, etc 

inside the villages.  

A good and fun place for family or dating!

Taking local bus from Kawaguchiko Station, about 25mins.

 All the people in above Ukiyoe is the image of BAD people in Edo period of Japan.

The right top one is famous bandit, Ishikawa Goemon.

The right bottom one: the dead spirit of Koyto monk was appearing in front of his lover noble princess Kiyo-Sakura Hime who killed him.

It is fun to know the story behind the paintings!
