Su Blackwell in Tokyo

The exhibition of Su Blackwell is holding in Pola Museum Annex, Ginza Tokyo.

Su Blackwell is UK artist working predominantly within the realm of paper.

This is her first "Pop-up book"exhibition hold in Asia. 

11 art pieces are in exhibiting, 

including a new work that was inspired by Japanese folk tale "The Grateful Crane".

大人版「飛び出す絵本」を作る芸術家スー・ブラックウェル（Su Blackwell）のアジア初となる展覧会が、ポーラ ミュージアム アネックスで開催される。

おとぎ話や民話をテーマに活動する同氏が、日本の昔話「鶴の恩返し」に着想した新作を含む全11点のインスタレーションを紹介す る。

三菱一号館美術館Café1894

Café1894 is located inside Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum (closes to Tokyo Station).  
This place had been once used as Bank business room.

The restoration of Café1894 was based on the pictures and drawings of 
 Mitsubishi Ichigokan which completed in 1894 (Meiji 27).

Now the Japanese drama "Chef of Emperor 天皇の料理番" is on air...
Café1894 is severing "Katsuretsu", famous Emperor cutlet set meal, 
five sets per night 17-23:00 only now. 

Emperor's Chef, Mr. Tokuzou Akiyama grew up in Meiji period,
the same period which Mitsubishi Ichigokan was built.
So may be you will see Mitsubishi Ichigokan in drama!

かつて銀行営業室として利用されていた場所です。
この空間の復元に当たっては、1894（明治27）年の三菱一号館竣工当時に
 撮影されたと思われる写真の他、図面、
保存部材から、可能な限り忠実な復元を目指しました。
