I am not crazy about manga, but after watched the NHK Morning series

the wife of GeGeGe Kitaro (ゲゲゲの鬼太郎) -
a manga series created in 1959 by manga
artist Shigeru Mizuki, who lives in Chofu now...
want to know more about
Kitaro...
so take a trip to Chofu, only 20mins from Shinjuku station...
locate western end of Tokyo.
The visitor center very close to station...it has a
mini exhibition and lot of funny souvenirs of Kitaro... The lady there
gave me a residential certificate of Kitaro as souvenir ^_~
Then I took bus to Tea House of Kitaro in Shidai Temple...

The museum is full of
the kawaii characters of Kitaro manga...even have little foot print on
floor!
Shidai Temple and Jindai Plant Park (which next to
Shidaiji) are very good places for a walk
Also must try the local famous Soba for lunch!
看了NHK早晨長篇“GeGeGe的女房”，講述恩愛的水木夫婦的一生。
《GeGeGe鬼太郎》是由有「妖怪博士」之稱的漫畫家水木茂創作的日本漫畫。
水木先生現住在調布。
想了解多一點，所以就去調布看看， 由新宿坐京王線快速 二十分左右就到。

在電車站附近的調布遊客資諮站，有《鬼太郎》資料展及古怪有趣手信。
因我是外國人，還收到鬼太郎特別居民証作記念 ^0^
接著, 由調布站坐巴士（可以行去） 深大寺，在入口就看見有趣的鬼太郎茶屋，

小腳印滿屋子，水木先生的鬼怪們真的很可愛。
森林中的深大寺及附近的神代植物公園是散步的好地方。
